Preparation and build phases are executed to standards. We excavate to stable subgrade, stabilize soft soils if present, and install 3/4″ crushed stone base compacted in 2″ lifts to achieve dense support. A 1″ screeded bedding layer is set for traditional systems, or open-graded chips for permeable builds. Pavers or stone are laid with proper joint spacing, then precisely cut to fit edges, curves, and features.
Finishing includes secure edge restraints, joint stabilization, final compaction, and optional sealing based on material. We perform a thorough walkthrough, provide maintenance guidance—such as using a rubber-edged shovel for snow and avoiding harsh de-icers in the first season—and offer periodic care plans to keep your hardscape looking its best.
